Homeless Program

Saya terpanggil to be apart of this program yang dianjurkan oleh Reachout Malaysia. This is the overview about Reach out Malaysia:

Reach Out was formed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in April, 2008 and is a registered charity and NGO under the Malaysian ROS. The organizations volunteers have established their unique vision to deliver this humanitarian need, incorporating its fundamental core principle, that volunteers of all races and religions partake in assisting those who at this time can not assist themselves. Volunteers include people of all ages, cultures, and walks of life, and represent all strata’s of society. Being mindful and respectful of others' beliefs, Reach Out is, uniquely, strictly non-religious and does not discriminate in terms of race, gender, religion or culture. From its inception this group has offered Halal food, drinks, clothing, and basic medical first aid to those in need in Kuala Lumpur and its surrounding States. On each delivery day food packets are prepared by volunteers and distributed into specific routes. Food is sponsored both by those organizations with humanitarian programmes and by volunteers themselves. Come rain or shine, Reach Out volunteers walk the streets of Malaysia seeking out those who need assistance to make it through another day. Since the group’s inception, volunteers have been allocated to the following locations:
– Pudu Raya
– Pudu Market
– Chow Kit
– Bukit Bintang
– Jalan Imbi
– Masjid Jameek
– Daya Bumi
– Jalan Sultan
– Masjid India
– Masjid Negara
– Pasa Seni
– KL Sentral
– Brickfields
– Kota Raya

Biscuits, snacks, drinking water, fruits, and hot food are now distributed to the poor daily.
Ini adalah pengalaman pertama saya sebagai volunteer. At first, I'm quite scary but i try to be confident that there is no worry.  If you have a good intention, Allah will protect you.
